Recipe - Three Little Piggy Cupcakes
- LeLe / color blue
- CeCe / color orange
- BeBe / color green
Ingredients:
- cupcake paper
liners

1 can (16 oz) vanilla frosting

Red food coloring
-
Yellow food coloring
- Blue food coloring
-
Green food coloring
- large marshmallows
- tube chocolate decorating icing
- chocolate chips
-
sugar
-
Cake mix ( bake cupcakes according
to directions)
What
you’ll need: Clean scissors
Frosting
the cupcakes:
Separate
the vanilla frosting into three small bowls. The first bowl tint the vanilla
frosting with the red and yellow food coloring to make orange. The second bowl
tint the vanilla frosting with blue food coloring. The third bowl
tint the vanilla frosting with green food coloring Spread the colored frosting top
of the cupcakes and make smooth.
To
complete the decoration:
In three separate bowls add ¼ c. sugar and tint with food
coloring – red/yellow orange, blue, and green.
Snip a ¼-inch thick slice from a marshmallow, crosswise. Dip
the cut side of the thin marshmallow slice into the colored - orange, blue and
green sugar to coat. Cut the sugared slice in half crosswise and form into 2
ear-shaped triangles.
Reserve the larger piece of marshmallow for the pig's snout.
Squeeze 3 -4 drops of food coloring – red/yellow orange, blue, and green in
three separate plastic bags. Snip ½ of marshmallow and place in plastic bag to
color. Repeat with the remaining marshmallows. Let dry.
Decorate cupcakes:
LeLe
– blue cupcake, CeCe – orange
cupcake, BeBe – green cupcake
Press colored marshmallow onto the lower half of the cupcake
for the pig's snout.
Press 2 sugared marshmallow ears into opposite edge of
cupcake, as pictured.
Press the chocolate chips in for the piggy's eyes, pointed
end down.
Pipe a mouth and nostrils onto the cupcake with the chocolate decorating icing.
